Our little Payton girl is growing up fast. She is getting more observant and engaged every day. I love the mornings with her. She is so smiley and happy. She knows her daddy and can't get enough of his singing. She is infatuated with her big brother Andrew and just stares at him. She even laughs at Cami when she chases her ball. She is amazing and we love her so much!
Payton is little miss independent. She loves to sit up and now she wants to stand up. She knows when mommy grabs her hands and starts counting to three that we are about to sit up or stand. She gets a big smile on her face and starts making noises. She has kind of rolled over, but nothing to get too excited about yet. She's taking her time and I am totally fine with that.
This month we had a couple of adventures to the pool. It's been so hot and the sun is so bright, that Payton gets tired pretty quickly. She liked hanging out in the tube and getting a little wet. Hopefully by the end of the summer we can get her out for a little longer than 15 minutes =)
We are patiently waiting for a tooth. Payton is drooling and loves to put everything in her mouth. We don't go anywhere without her teething keys. She also enjoys her vibrating strawberry. She was a little confused when she bit down and it vibrated. It was a little funny.
It's also been fun watching her eat foods. She is actually opening up and leaning forward now to get a bite. She used to just play with it and let it fall out of her mouth. I hope she continues to eat her vegetables and we will make sure she is trying new things.

She is just beautiful & I love this blog. I need to plan a visit home just so I can hold her. I must admit all of her pictures her eyes are so bright and watching the world. They change daily.
