October is here and we are just a couple weeks away from celebrating Payton's first Halloween. There probably won't be a lot of trick or treating going on, but she will be in costume and she will attend her first Halloween Party at my work. There will be lots of photos and another blog for sure!
We got into the Halloween spirit for her 8 month birthday and visited the pumpkin patch. There was lots to see and lots of photos to be taken. She noticed everything around her and was pretty curious about all the farm animals, especially the chickens running around. I think she definitely had the most fun dancing around in the corn. It was a really fun time with Daddy, Andrew, Nana and Papa. Here is a little video to watch about her first visit to the pumpkin patch...
There isn't too many new things to report. She hasn't really grown much, but she does have both her bottom teeth and drools as often as possible. She is using her hands non-stop and is pretty good about getting you in the face when you least expect it =) She has bye-bye down, she is clapping and does high-five every once and awhile.
She loves to wake up in the morning and talk and talk and talk. She gets louder and more excited when you talk back to her. I think it is her goal to wake up everyone in the house. She's been singing too, it's pretty cute. No sign of saying mom yet. I'm working on "Hi Cami" so she recognizes her doggie. Bye Bye might be her next word.
Really this girl is just taking it all in. She is so smart and is really trying to mimic anything she sees. She loves standing and wants to look at herself in the mirror. As soon as she sees herself she starts smiling. You can see in this video that she wants to stand and grab for anything she can reach. Not too much longer and we are going to be chasing her around.
