Tay Tot is 22 months

This month has been a doozie! The cold season hit us all hard. Everyone in the house had a cough, a snotty nose and not enough sleep. We still aren't back to ourselves, but definitely better. Taylor is full of snot and most nights wakes herself up coughing. Hoping we see the end to all this soon!

We've been taking it easy most of the time, since we haven't been feeling well. We spend a lot of time watching movies on Disney +, we love it, doing puzzles and coloring. Taylor loves to color...on everything. We have tons of crayons and a stack of coloring books. Taylor does a pretty good job for the most part, but she also loves to color on Payton's picture, or the wall, or the furniture. She definitely knows she's not supposed to do it, but of course that doesn't stop her. If you see anything on the walls when you come over, just ignore it =)

Our little Taylor is quite the handful. She is testing every boundary she possibly can these days. "No", "stop", "enough" don't apply to Taylor. We put her in time out and sometimes she puts herself in time out, but give it 5 minutes and she's right back at it. I am pretty sure she thinks everything is a game. Even Aaron's stern voice and glare barely scares this girl. Taylor is notorious for hitting and throwing things. We can tell her to stop or no-no, but unless you start crying or say ouch, she thinks it's fine. Poor Payton tries to be patient with her little sister, but she gets frustrated pretty quickly. Keeping them separated is nearly impossible and extremely exhausting. The times when they do get along it is so great. Taylor does everything Payton does and sometimes she loves it and sometimes she hates it.

Taylor is really pretty funny and some of the reason we have a difficult time disciplining her. Today she threw something at Payton, Aaron gave her the look and said "No hitting, you understand me" and she just nodded her head with so much guilt. She knew exactly what she was doing. Taylor pulls my hair and I give her a look and say ouch. She looks at me with so much concern and says "okay mommy?" We love that little stinker. We are excited for some fun family time this week! I will make sure to get some more videos and photos of her during the holiday season.
