Tay is 19 months old

I really do love my Tay-Tay, but this kid doesn't make it easy. My Taylor is too much these days. I think we are hitting the terrible twos early. This hot mess knows how to push me over the edge, then you add on Payton and I don't even know how I make it through some days. Taylor is lucky she is so adorable!

Miss Independent cannot handle not getting her way. The tantrums are unreal. When you tell Taylor no or take something away, the tears start coming and then there's the screaming that goes along with it.  She wants to do everything on her own these days. Eating time is the worst time. Taylor insists on feeding herself and wont have it any other way. Every night it is a struggle that most often ends up with me giving up and then having a ginormous mess to clean up. It's exhausting. What's even more ridiculous is that she has now learned how to mean mug to let us know when she isn't happy with a situation. When she doesn't get her way it comes out with a vengeance.  We laugh about it sometimes, but she's already got an attitude that is too much for this mama to handle.

It's been a couple of weeks now, and Taylor has moved up to the wee-twos class. She is too old for the baby class, but not quite ready for the two year old class. We are excited about being with the older kids and getting a start on potty training. Now Taylor gets to see her sister a little more often because she's downstairs with all the older kids. She is learning her numbers, body parts, Spanish, having fun coloring and playing outside on the playground. Taylor really likes school and wearing her backpack. Looking forward to seeing how much this little lady learns.

We are finally getting comfortable in the new house. We still have lots to do, but the girls have their rooms pretty much done. Taylor got herself a little tee-pee now that she can hide out in. Payton and her like to play in their rooms which is nice, we are working on keeping as many toys as possible in their rooms...or outside. We have met a couple of our neighbor kids and lucky for us there are plenty around the girls' age. We are looking forward to making many friends and lot of memories at our forever home!
