Tay is 13 months

Oh my goodness is it Spring yet? My little ladies needs some vitamin D and to get out of this house! Everyone is a little stir crazy and we have exhausted all the fun we can have inside. It's been a long month and we can't wait for our family vacation to Florida coming up in April. We are looking forward to some sun, sand and a day trip to Walt Disney World.

Hopefully, by our trip Taylor will be walking. Everyday she gets a little closer. One of her favorite toys is her sit to stand walker that she pushes around. She also uses the kitchen chairs and her activity table to practice walking. She will just push them around the living room or kitchen and go to town. We have had a couple of falls, but she is a tough cookie and gets right back up. We will keep practicing and hopefully it won't be too much longer.

I know Payton would love for her sister to be walking and dancing with her. While most of the time Payton loves her baby sister, she does get a little annoyed with her sometimes. Taylor is a bit of a destroyer. I don't blame Payton, Taylor is very interested in everything she is doing and Taylor wants to play, but she ends up knocking down our Magna Tiles tower, ripping up our coloring book pages, trying to eat our crayons and the list goes on. Sometimes we can play doctor together or kitchen and everything goes great. I have learned to gauge Payton and Taylor's mood to figure out what we can play. I am sure there will be plenty of arguing as they get older, that's what sisters are for, right?

The sisters are both really great at being loud. Payton does not have a quiet voice and Taylor is following in her sisters foot steps. That girl screams about everything. Taylor screams when you aren't feeding her fast enough, she screams if you take something away from her, she screams to get your attention, she just screams because she likes to hear her voice. Taylor will start first thing in the morning and I will do everything I can to keep her busy and playing so she won't wake up the house. I would say 5 times out of 10, Taylor is the reason Payton wakes up early in the morning. There are days when it's cute, like yesterday at the grocery store when I wasn't feeding her the yogurt sample fast enough. People passing by of course noticed, "Awww, she's like a little baby bird." Then somedays at home when you are trying to get a million things done and that scream of hers, because she wants you to focus on her only, just raises your blood pressure. It will be a little better when the screams turn to words and maybe then I will know what she wants. As long as it's not any back talk!

I would have to say that the majority of Taylor's screaming is about food. That girl wants to eat everything you are eating. She will literally follow you around the kitchen if you are grabbing a quick snack. Taylor will stand and stare at you if you are enjoying a little treat while watching TV on the couch. If she has finished her food, and she eats a lot, but we are still eating she will scream and want something off our plates. Most days, it's hard for me to eat dinner with her, she gets mad if I take a bite and she's ready for hers. It isn't a big problem to have, I would much rather this girl want to eat then have another Payton who won't eat a thing and we struggle at every meal.

Taylor is an awesome little lady and she keeps us on our toes. We have to keep a close eye on her and she is always making us laugh. Just a couple of weeks ago, she had her ear tube surgery and did great. We are glad we got that taken care of and I think it is going to make her feel a ton better.
