Happy Halloween

Payton's first Halloween was a good one! She actually had 2 costumes for her first year. Friday was spent at her first Walz Tetrick Halloween Party and Saturday we did a little bit of trick or treating around the neighborhood.

Every year my company, Walz Tetrick Advertising hosts a big Halloween Party. Every year we try to dress up and this year we had a last minute idea come up that could include Payton. We waited til the Monday before to decide that the media department was going to be a bunch of robbers. Easy costume; dress in all black, grab a mask and stocking cap, find a money bag. Instead of finding a money bag, I created an outfit for Payton...well my mom created it =)

She was pretty cute and didn't mind the big money bow in her hair either. She was tossed around to everyone stopping by and didn't mind it at all. She did great and had fun chatting with everyone. It was a fun party and I was happy that Payton did so great.

Saturday we planned to walk the neighborhood with some family. My cousin Jordan brought over his daughter, Genavieve for her first trick or treating experience. She was the cutest biker babe I have seen.  Genavieve did so great, she caught on pretty quickly and had her bucket filled with candy in no time. Payton didn't have quite as much fun. She lasted about 5 minutes in her stroller and we barely made it around the block. She had more fun at home playing with Genavieve and watching the Royals game.

It was a fun Halloween, next up Thanksgiving and Christmas!
