It's the first day of Pre-K for Miss Payton Alaina. She is really excited to be in the big kid class and have her own desk. We are officially wearing uniforms everyday and will be ruling the school =) While Payton is one of the "big" kids at school, she is still very much my petite princess. Don't worry, this kid can hold her own and I know she is going to do BIG things this year!
This will be Payton's last year at Outreach and I am so grateful that we were able to find such a great fit for her. Outreach is very much a family, we love all the teachers and everyone has always been so supportive to both girls and myself. I am so happy to have a good group of mom friends to talk to and that Payton has been able to start some great friendships. Payton has learned so much and I give all the credit to Outreach. This year, Outreach has big plans for all the Pre-K kiddos. Payton could be reading and doing some math before the end of the year. I am really excited for Payton to work with Ms Toma and to see how the school year goes.
This year Payton will also be moving up to the beginner class at Kansas City Gymnastics School. She really loves gymnastics and her and Bailey get to do it together every week. Payton has her cartwheel down, she practices handstands daily, she's swinging on the bar and the beam is her favorite. Gymnastics has been really helpful with providing structure, helping her with her listening skills and just providing some discipline. Miss Isabella has been really great for Payton and I know we will be sticking with gymnastics for quite awhile. She's growing up fast!
Along with being a "big" kid and learning big things this year, Payton also got a bigger room. It's our 2nd week in the new house and Payton got an upgrade in the bedroom department. It's almost finished, we just have a little more unpacking to do and need to add a few pictures, but Payton loves it. Her Nana put a lot of thought into it and really helped to make it perfect for her. It was really fun to watch her see it for the first time.
Payton is an awesome little girl. She still has that strong willed personality and it gets her in trouble a lot. She loves to talk, JUST LIKE HER DADDY. Payton is so funny and makes us laugh all the time. Payton's temper is ridiculous still, she can get frustrated in a second and her world turns upside down. This girl is smart, stubborn and so sweet. My world is a better place with her in it and while we have our challenges, she is the best thing that ever happened to me.
