11 months old!

I can't believe we are just one month away from Taylor being a year old. 2018 has literally flown by and it's been a crazy year. Work for me has been a world wind with so many changes. After coming back from maternity leave  and changing roles, moving into a new office and transitioning to a new billing system - yikes! At home it's been figuring out how to juggle two little girls, finding a routine and understanding how each one is different. I have definitely learned a lot about myself this past year and I am working on making some changes to be a better mom for the girls in 2019. Looking forward to some fun birthdays, a fun family vacation and making lots of memories.

Taylor's personality is shining bright these days. She is smiling and laughing all the time. We are lucky that we have a happy baby. Anytime we laugh or clap, Taylor does it right along with us. We listen to Disney Children's Radio on Pandora while we make dinner and both Payton and Taylor dance and smile. She laughs the hardest when her daddy tickles her. It is pretty darn cute. She definitely has dad wrapped around her finger.

Along with those adorable laughs comes very dramatic cries. Just like her sister, when she doesn't get her way she lets you know how unhappy she is. We are already experiencing tantrums with big tears. If I leave a room and she can't see me, she cries. If I take something away, she cries. She's just figuring out the world one day at a time and we are figuring out Taylor =)

I really love the girls daycare. Payton has learned so much at Outreach and Taylor is doing the same. She is exploring, socializing, waving and clapping and now she knows how to blow kisses. Cuteness overload! She is also pulling herself up and standing which she loves. Those legs keep getting stronger and now we need to work on that balance a little.

Taylor thinks her big sister is pretty amazing and is wanting to do everything her Payton is doing. I appreciate that Payton tries to be patient with her little sister. She takes great care of her and shares as much as she can (Payton is very particular with what she will share and when she will share it). Soon Taylor will be able to keep up a little better with her big sister. That will be pretty interesting. In just a couple of months we will have a one year old and a four year old. I hope these two stay best friends forever.
