Tay Tay Aliyah is 16 months old! This little smarty pants is exhausting.
She is on the go, she's a little Daredevil and I can't keep up with
her. Getting these monthly photos of her is near impossible. This one is as good as it gets.
The
whole time I was trying to get this photo she kept climbing up to stand
on the couch. She will literally climb on anything and everything.
Taylor thinks chairs are for standing on. She could spend hours going
up-and-down stairs. She likes to climb on our ottoman up onto our bed,
and has had a fall here and there. It doesn't stop her! We take her to
the park a lot so she can have a fun time climbing on things with her
sister. She loves the park for sure. Payton has even taught her how to
climb up the slide...ugh!
Just
recently Taylor has preferred to use utensils when she eats. Mommy and
Daddy can't feed her, she has to do it herself. Many a times at dinner
she won't eat unless she gets to use her fork. I'm actually a little
impressed, she does fairly well...with a lot of mess. She is not so
great with the spoon yet, but loves to stab things with the fork. Taylor
loves to use it with her meat and veggies. She has gotten a little too
excited and swings that fork around sometimes. It is definitely a messy
situation, but fun to watch.
While
Taylor likes to make a big mess, she insists on cleaning up after
herself. After dinner, I always give her a wipe and she cleans off of
her tray. She also likes to use wipes to clean off the floor and the
chairs and really anything else. Taylor is also good at picking up after
herself if I help her. She is definitely monkey see monkey do right
now. We sing our clean up song and she puts the toys back in the box or
blocks back in the bag. It is a good habit that we will continue with.
You
can always tell when Taylor is tired. She snatches up her pacifier and
then starts twirling what little hair she has with her fingers. Most of
the time her hand is above her head when she falls asleep. It will be
interesting to see if she keeps that up. Payton twirls her hair too. Two
little peas in a pod. Love our little ladies!
They are the best.. Good job Natasha. Love you.
