Taylor's a month old

It begins again; the monthly growth photos for Baby Taylor. I am excited to see how Taylor grows and learns compared to her big sister. She is now a month old and we are already starting to see the similarities and differences between Taylor and when Payton was a baby.

I have to say the girls are twins. Taylor was heavier when she was born, but their baby faces are identical. They both have a decent amount of hair, but Payton had more on top and Taylor has more on the back of her head. Taylor has the same mouth and eyes as her sister and they both have the strawberry birthmarks on the back of their necks. I am anxious to see if Taylor keeps her color or if she will grow up to be just as white and blonde headed as her sister.

Taylor is very alert just like Payton was. She is holding up her head and watching the world around her. Taylor will stay awake for awhile during the day and look around. I love when she follows my voice and looking at her pretty blue eyes. When Taylor is awake, she prefers to be upright so she can see everything. Payton likes when Taylor is awake so she can talk to her and hold her. Taylor and her have had a few play moments, but Payton wants her to grow up faster. =)

Taylor is a really great baby. She is a good sleeper; we are almost at 5 hours a night. She really only cries when she's hungry or has a dirty diaper. She has been a little gassy and has blown up a few diapers, but nothing unexpected. She's eats well and is gaining weight. I am thankful that Taylor is a happy and healthy baby. I am looking forward to seeing how much she changes in the next month. We are very lucky to have two amazing girls!
